Blockbuster Online is an Internet movie rental plan from the biggest name in movie rentals. Blockbuster Online offers unlimited rental options much like their competitor, Netflix, but you can also rent video games.

Blockbuster Online offers a compelling movie rental package, including elements of the Netflix and Redbox business plans, along with game rentals. I imagine this should appeal to a sizable portion of the movie renting population. While I still prefer the quicker shipping of Netflix, if you had a Blockbuster kiosk or store in your neighborhood, or you play a lot of video games, Blockbuster Online might be a better option.

Reading through this article it looks like Blockbuster has come a long way to make a come back. I know when Netflix had their big price hike I decided to look for another company for my movie needs. I researched a little about Blockbuster since DISH Network my employer bought them. I have had DISH as my provider for a long time, so when they started offering the Blockbuster Movie Pass I thought I would try it. DISH is offering it free for three months, so it was a deal. After my three months was over, I now only pay $10 a month, which is a better price than I was paying with Netflix. The Pass includes streaming, mail-in DVD, in-store exchanges, and so much more. If you are a game lover, there is no extra charge for that. As a movie lover, my favorite part is that I get new releases 28 days before Netflix. There is so many ways that you can get Blockbuster these days and for me this is the best deal because I only have to worry about one bill for all my entertainment choices.
